CF Police Asking For Public’s Help
Cedar Falls Police are asking the public to help find 2 accomplices.
Amanda Elaine Swaggerty, age 26, of 438 Western Avenue in Waterloo was arrested on warrants in March charging her with Theft in the 2nd degree (a Class “D” Felony) and Using a Child in the Commission of a Crime (a Class “C” Felony). Police allege that Swaggarty and her accomplices stole over $3,600.00 worth of merchandise from the Cedar Falls Von Maur Store in February and March of 2014. Follow-up investigation revealed that Swaggerty had used her six year old daughter in the commission of the thefts. Swaggerty was transported to the Black Hawk County Jail and later released on bond.
