Cedar Falls Police Warn Citizens of Vehicle Burglaries

After a rash of vehicle burglaries during the past couple of months in Cedar Falls, the police have issued a warning.

Since June, Cedar Falls Police have responded to over forty vehicle burglaries. The vehicles have been left unlocked. Some of the vehicles were parked in unlocked garages. During the burglaries laptops, money, guns, and other items have been taken. The burglaries have occurred in all parts of the city.

Police are asking citizens to keep their vehicles and garages locked. If anyone should see someone who looks suspicious please contact the Black Hawk County Dispatch Center at 319-291-2515.
