Cedar Falls Police Investigate Stabbing

On January 24^th, 2015 at approximately 2:47 AM Cedar Falls Police were dispatched to Allen Hospital in Waterloo on a report of a stabbing that had apparantly occurred in the west alley of the 400 block of Main St.  The victim, identified as 25 year old Justin Erickson, had suffered multiple stabs wounds and lacerations.  The suspect is a known acquaintance of Erickson's, who has not been arrested at this time.  None of the injuries are life threatening and Erickson was treated and released from the hospital. 

Erickson was arrested on an unrelated arrest warrant for a Probation Violation out of Tama County.

The investigation into the stabbing continues.
