Cedar Falls Police Investigate Stabbing

A Cedar Falls man is recovering from injuries he received in a stabbing at a local car wash on Tuesday (February 3, 2015).

Waterloo and Cedar Falls police both responded to the call at Midway Car Wash at 3717 Midway Drive, which borders the cities. When officers arrived, they determined that Austin Pankey, 19, received stab wounds during a fight with an acquaintance.

Pankey was taken a Waterloo hospital for treatment.

Cedar Falls police said no arrests have been made the case. Authorities continue to investigate.
