A Cedar Falls man is facing multiple charges following a traffic stop in Waterloo Tuesday afternoon (February 17, 2015).

Officers stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Conger Street and Logan Avenue for an apparent equipment violation. Officers talked with several people during the stop, including Myles Anthony Ross, 23, of Cedar Falls.

Police said they saw Ross kick a baggie of marijuana under the vehicle as he was exiting it. According to police, they also noticed a partially concealed .40-caliber handgun on the floorboard where Ross was seated.

Ross and several subjects were detained at that time.

During the investigation, police charged Ross with felony possession of a firearm, carrying weapons and second-offense possession of marijuana. Ross was booked into the Black Hawk County Jail.
