Cedar Falls Business Robbery Under Investigation

Authorities are investigating an armed robbery at a Cedar Falls pizza restaurant early Sunday morning (March 19, 2017).

According to police, an employee called Black Hawk County dispatch around 5 a.m. to report that an armed robbery had just occurred. Responding officers learned that a suspect, who's identity was concealed, entered the business while it was closed. The suspect displayed a weapon and demanded all of the cash from the business.

Police said the suspect fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash. No injuries were reported.
