Cedar Falls Accident Injures One

An automobile accident in rural Cedar Falls today (Thursday, May 7th) sent one to a local resident to a local hospital.

Black Hawk County Deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on West Cedar Wapsi Road in front of the Cedar Falls Gun Club.  A white 1999 Cadillac Deville was being driven by 79 year old Marcia Lauraine Renner of rural Cedar Falls.  Mrs. Renner lost control and entered the north ditch and rolled atleast twice before coming to rest on its wheels.  Mrs. Renner had to be extricated from the vehicle by Janesville Fire and was transported to a local hospital by ambulance for non-life threatening injuries.  The accident remains under investigation.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by Janesville Police and Fire Departments.
