The Denver Cyclones qualified for the IHSAA State baseball tournament for the third year in a row. But while the game may quickly be forgotten, one play during the game certainly will not.

During Monday's quarterfinal game against Wilton, the Beavers' Cory Anderson was attempting to score when he collided with Denver catcher Kain Eagle. Eagle moved up the third base line to get to a throw from the outfield when he was leveled by Anderson.

Video of the play was shared by multiple media outlets and quickly went viral; as of this post, the clip has been viewed on Instagram more than 1.5 MILLION times.

Making matters worse for Denver, the runner was ruled safe due to catcher's interference. Here's the collision at a different angle (Video: KWWL).

Eagle left the field under his own power but was removed from the game. Wilton went on to defeat Denver, 3-2.
