A Cedar Falls motorist is being charged with causing a traffic accident in Winneshiek County.

It happened at about 5:30pm Friday (April 22) on Locust Road, near Decorah.

Coltin Wellman was driving north, when his Chevrolet HHR went onto the right shoulder. Wellman over-corrected, went down an embankment, and rolled over, landing on it's wheels.

All three occupants were treated at the scene for minor injuries. The vehicle had $10,000 in damages.

Wellman is charged with failure to maintain control.
