Butler County Woman Killed In Rollover Accident
A one-vehicle rollover accident in north-central Iowa took the life a young Butler County woman on Thursday (May 12, 2016).
The Iowa State Patrol identified the victim as Kassidy Ostendorf, 21, of Bristow. The crash occurred around 1 p.m. at a rural intersection in Cerro Gordo County, southeast of Mason City.
According to state troopers, Ostendorf was driving eastbound on County Road B-35 when her pickup truck left the road and rolled into a ditch.
Ostendorf, the only occupant of the vehicle, was partially ejected in the accident. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
