Bremer County Accident Sends One To Hospital
An northeast Iowa man is being charged with causing a two-vehicle accident in Bremer County on Tuesday (July 12, 2016).
The crash happened just before 4 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 218/Iowa Highway 27 and County Road C-33, north of Waverly.
According to sheriff's officials, a car driven by Glade Parker, of Floyd, rear-ended a car driven by Laureli Buehrer, of Northwood.
Buehrer was taken to the Waverly hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Parker was charged with failure to stop in an assured clear distance, sheriff's officials said.
Waverly ambulance and the Plainfield Fire Department assisted Bremer County sheriff's officials at the scene.
