A two-vehicle accident in rural Bremer County has put two people in the hospital.

Just before 3:30pm Tuesday, the Bremer County Sheriff was notified of a traffic accident with injuries, at the intersection of Highway 63 and County Road C-33 southwest of Tripoli, with one driver trapped in their vehicle.

An initial investigation revealed that a car driven by 17 year old Grace Haley of Tripoli pulled out from a stop sign into the path of a vehicle driven by 20 year old Kaleb Rieck of New Hampton.

After the collission, Haley had to be extricated from her car. She was aircared to a Waterloo hospital. Rieck was taken by a personal vehicle to a hospital with minor injuries.

No condition reports were available.

No charges have been filed, but the accident remains under investigation.
