Bremer County authorities are looking for the driver of a vehicle who apparently tried to abduct two 10-year-old boys in the city of Tripoli on Monday (April 17, 2017).

The incident reportedly happened around 11 a.m. near the Tripoli library.

In a press release, sheriff's officials said a man approached the boys and offered to pay them to help collect cans. The suspect then allegedly showed them fake money.

The man is described as old, skinny and bald with missing teeth, who was driving an older, rusty blue truck with items in the bed. Surveillance video released by authorities shows the truck may be a single cab Chevy/GMC 1500. Possibly early 2000s.
