Two Northeast Iowa women were taken to the hospital, following a traffic accident in rural Bremer County.

At about 10:15am Wednesday (Nov. 8), the Bremer County Sheriff was notified of an accident at the intersection of 260th Street and Reed Avenue, south of Readlyn.

A car driven by 59 year old Linda Gloede of Denver did not stop for another car driven by 39 year old Stacy Thurm of Readlyn. After the colission, both drivers were taken to Allen Hospital in Waterloo to be treated for minor injuries.

Gloede was charged with Failure to Yield Upon Entering a Through Highway.

The Bremer County Sherff was assisted at the scene by the Readlyn Fire Department, Denver Ambulance, Iowa State Patrol, and Del's Wrecker.
