After nearly three weeks on the lam, escaped murderer Richard Matt has reportedly been shot and killed by law-enforcement not far from the prison he sawed his way out of in upstate New York. Matt was located in a remote area of Franklin County after investigators discovered evidence that he and another fugitive killer, David Sweat, had been hiding out in a pair of hunting cabins there, reports The New York Times. Sweat remains at large.
