The Americans for Independent Living invite you to join them on Saturday, April 8 for a fun night of bowling while helping Cedar Valley Veterans.

The 'Bowling for Veterans' event will take place at Maple Lanes (Waterloo, IA) on Saturday, April 8, 2017 (6p-8p). The fundraiser is hosted by Americans for Independent Living. Over the years, the AFIL has helped homeless and disabled Veterans with building or modifying homes using the Universal Designed specifications for the male and female veterans that have suffered major traumatic injuries since post 9/11.

Proceeds from the April 8th event will help the AFIL to renovate another transitional home and complete two home modifications still on their project list. Those projects need approximately $20,000 to complete this noteworthy task. Proceeds from Bowling for Veterans will go directly to that effort.

The cost is $100 per team of up to five bowlers (shoe rental included in entry fee). There will be cash prizes, auction items, and a raffle. All ages are welcome to participate.
