Body Found in Car in Fredericksburg

A man's body has been found in a car in Fredericksburg.

At about 6:30 a.m. Monday, Chickasaw County sheriff's officials were alerted by a passer-by, who found the car parked on North Jackson Street, near Rose Hill cemetery.

The name of the dead man has not been released, however he is from Denver, Iowa.

No foul play is suspected, and an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.  Officials continue to investigate.
