The Waterloo Black Hawks and the Tri-City Storm put on a defensive battle for the fans on Saturday, February 7, 2015 inside Young Arena. Scoreless after 60-minutes, the teams went to overtime to settle it.

Tri-City forward Chris Wilkie scored Saturday’s only goal 2:13 into overtime, nudging the the Storm past the Waterloo Black Hawks 1-0 at Young Arena.

Setup between the hash marks, Wilkie received a pass from Mason Appleton, and fired a low shot past Hawks goalie Cale Morris. Morris was bidding for his second shutout in a 27-hour span after blanking the Madison Capitols during a 5-0 Hawks win on Friday. He made 25 saves. On this night, Morris stopped 18 of 19 shots.

Instead, it was Jared Rutledge who finished the night with a clean sheet. The Tri-City netminder stopped all 32 Waterloo chances.
