A Waterloo woman faces drug and various other charges after a traffic stop in Fayette County.

Last Wednesday (July 20), the Fayette County Sheriff got a report of a person who was driving with a suspended license. The vehicle in question was located and stopped near West Union.

Following the investigation, the driver, 38 year old Tammy Morrison of Waterloo, was arrested and charged with Driving While Suspended, Possession of Methamphetamine 3rd Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving with no proof of insurance.

More charges are pending.

A Fairbank man has been arrested after an apparent domestic assault. Just before 7:30pm Thursday (July 21), Fayette County deputies responded to a 911 call. After looking into the matter, 57 year old Todd Hannan of Fairbank was arrested for Aggravated Domestic Assault, Intent to Cause Injury. Hannan was held in the West Union jail until his initial court appearance.
