A northeast Iowa man seemed to be a one-man crime spree, racking up a total of 80 charges in one night.

The whole thing started when Manchester police received a report of a fight at a residence on Franklin Street in Manchester on Friday (April 20, 2018).

Responding officers spotted a minivan that was leaving the fight scene, without its headlights on and the side doors open. Officials said police attempted to pull the van over, but the driver took off.

The chase continued through the downtown business district, to the north side of Manchester, where authorities used stop sticks to deflate the van's tires.

According to authorities, the driver still refused to stop and continued going through residential yards. The vehicle pursuit ended, when squad cars caused the van to spin out. Officers then pinned the vehicle in place with squad cars.

Police said the suspect -- identified Timo Wilson, 37, of Manchester -- then took off on foot. He was caught after a short chase.

Wilson was arrested on the following charges: eluding with injury, third-offense operating while intoxicated, interference with official acts causing bodily injury, giving false identification information, fifth-degree criminal mischief, and 75 other traffic citations.
