Area Man Charged in Pickup Rollover

A Northeast Iowa man faces charges after rolling his pickup in Fayette County.
The Fayette County Sheriff received a 911 call at about 8:30am Friday (Nov. 4), concerning an accident just south of Highway 187 and 90th Street near Arlington.

When officers arrived, they found that the driver had left the scene.

The driver, identified as 31 year old William Kobelt of West Union, was later located. He was arrested on charges of Driving While his License is Barred, and Failure to Maintain Control.

No one was injured; damages to the 2001 Ford Ranger were estimated at $5,000.
