How scary is it that our own government would ask a company to go against all protocol and create something that could possibly create a gold mine for criminals? That's exactly what the government has asked Apple to do with the Iphone, but Apple's response is "No Way".

The FBI has been working with Apple as they investigate the San Bernardino terrorist attacks. Apple, according to their own press releases and letter to subscribers, has bee cooperating fully with all subpoenas and search warrants. Apple has also made their engineers available to consult with the FBI and look for other ways of investigation.

The FBI has recently requested that Apple rebuild their operating system for the Iphone to include an encryption key, or back door. That would create an enormous problem for every Iphone user as once the key is made, you can unlock every door.

Apple has said "No" to the FBI.  So the question remains, is this Apple protecting it's customers, or are they in contempt by refusing to give in to the government?
