Anonymous supporters of the Northeast Iowa Food Bank are giving you 10,000 reasons to give with a matching gift challenge for a limited time. Now through April 30th all donations made to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank will be matched up to $10,000.

The more donations received by the Northeast Iowa Food Bank before April 30th – the more of the challenge money the Food Bank will receive.  Only donations or pledges received through April 30th will qualify.  Donations can include cash, checks or pledges.

The Northeast Iowa Food Bank provides nutritious food and grocery products, to about 200 nonprofit organizations and programs who assist the hungry, and to individuals who need food assistance to sustain life. Last year, the Food Bank distributed more than 7 million pounds of food to member agencies, programs and other food banks.

The Food Bank provides eight programs that serve the community-Member Agency Distribution, Cedar Valley Food Pantry, the BackPack Program, Kids Cafe, Elderly Nutrition, Mobile Food Pantries, Summer Feeding and a Community Garden.
