Alleged Sexual Assault Investigated in Charles City

A search warrant concerning an alleged sexual assault has been executed at a home in Charles City.

Police served the warrant this week, at a residence in the 500 block of South Main Street in Charles City.

Officers seized many items in relation to the reported sexual assault, however, no arrests were reported.

The incident is still under investigation.

The Floyd County Sheriff assisted Charles City Police in conducting the search.
