The Iowa State Patrol is on the scene of an accident that has partially closed Interstate 380 at the U.S. Highway 20 interchange in Black Hawk County, east of Waterloo.

According to state troopers, the accident involves two overturned semis and at least one other vehicle. One of the semis caught on fire.

According to the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT), traffic on northbound I-380 merging onto westbound U.S. 20 is being detoured onto eastbound U.S. 20 to the Dunkerton interchange (S. Canfield Road). Motorists can then use the Canfield Road exit for access to westbound 20.

The crash happened around 9:30 a.m. today (Wednesday, June 22, 2016).
