It seems that in America, everyone truly is working for the weekend and the weekend only--because almost half of U.S. adults aren’t taking any vacation time.

According to a new study from the travel analysis firm Skift, 40.5 percent of all U.S. workers took no vacation days in 2015, with another 17 percent of the survey’s 2,000 respondents taking less than five vacation days during the entire calendar year. The numbers are similar to 2014, when nearly 42 percent of study participants said they took no vacation days that year. Workers between the ages of 18 and 35 were found to be the most overworked; women were also found to take off slightly less time than men.

What is wrong with us!? Seriously, if I have a vacation day, I take it. Americans spend more time at work and less time enjoying life than any other nation. It's about time we take that back.
