The #6 Wartburg Knights rallied for a 21-13 Homecoming win against the Central Dutch on Saturday, October 3, 2015. The Knights improve to 4-0 (1-0 IIAC)  on the season.

After a scoreless first quarter, the Knights broke into the endzone first. Quarterback Logan Schrader (senior) capped off a five-play 53-yard scoring drive with a 13-yard rushing touchdown.

The Dutch responded with two second quarter touchdowns, missing one extra point, and led 13-7 at the half.

Wartburg doubled down in the third with two touchdowns. Former Northeast Iowa high school sports star Brandon Domeyer (West Delaware, Manchester) scored a four-yard rushing touchdown. Domeyer (Senior) now sits third on the program's all-time career leader list with 42 rushing touchdowns.

Schrader used his feet once again to easily score his second TD on Wartburg's next drive, this one from two yards out.

Central began a late fourth quarter charge to steal the win, but Logan Pitz (Senior) sealed the win with an interception on Cental's 30-yard line with 25 seconds to play.

Schrader ended the day 23-30 for 273 yards and 2 interceptions. He added another 39-yards on the ground and two touchdowns. Domeyer ran for 85 yards on 19 carries.

Michael Bohlke (Senior), another Northeast Iowa alum (West Delaware, Manchester) made all three point after touchdown kicks and ranks third with 118 for his career.

Robbie Anstoetter (Senior) lead the team in receptions (7 for 119 yards), and it was his third straight game with 100+ reception yards.

Another former Northeast Iowa high school star Gunner Tranel (Vinton-Shellsburg) co-led the defense with eight total tackles (along with senior Logan Pitz).
