Authorities have arrested 3 people following a high speed chase that started in Bremer County and ended in Black Hawk County.

The incident began shortly after midnight, early Monday, a mile south of Plainfield. Bremer County Deputies pulled over a car on Highway 218 for speeding.

The driver pulled over, but could not produce a driver's license. He then took off, reaching speeds of over 100 miles an hour. During the investigation, authorities determined the car was stolen from Minneapolis.

The Iowa State Patrol deployed stop sticks south of Bennington Road in Black Hawk County, bringing the chase to an end.
