Join Waterloo Broadcasting in supporting the 2015 Student Food Drive and help fight hunger in Northeast Iowa.

Area high school students are competing with other local schools to see who can raise the most money and the most food for the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. This is not only a fun way to help the community, but it's also teaching students about planning, executing and being mentors to their peers.

Did you know that more than 50,000 people in Northeast Iowa are 'food insecure'? That means they don't always know where their next meal will come from. 19,000 people are food insecure in Black Hawk County alone. BUT, you can help with supporting the 2015 Student Food Drive.

Schools involved are:

  • Cedar Falls High School
  • Hudson High School
  • Union High School
  • Valley Lutheran
  • Waterloo Christian
  • Waterloo East High
  • Waterloo West High
