The field is set for the Class-2A portion of the 2015 Iowa High School Boys State Basketball Tournament. The 2A bracket has been filled by the eight teams that won substate championship games Saturday night (February 28, 2015).

Aplington-Parkersburg is the only team from the Cedar Valley and Northeast Iowa in the field. The top-ranked Falcons (24-1) earned their fifth trip to state as a combined program with a 61-59 win over third-ranked New Hampton (22-2) at Cedar Falls Saturday night.

A-P is the top-seed among the Class-2A teams. Aplington-Parkersburg faces Woodward Academy (16-7) at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10 in the final game on day two of the six-day tournament.

The 2015 Boys State Basketball Tournament will be played March 9-14 at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.

The Class-2A state championship game tips-off at 8:06 p.m. on Friday, March 13.
