2 Vehicles Totaled at County Line, One Hurt

The Fayette County Sheriff is investigating a two vehicle accident that sent one person to the hospital.

It happened at about 4:30pm Thursday, at the intersection of "I" Avenue and 10th Street, on the Fayette/Buchanan County line, near Stanley.

A vehicle driven by 31 yea rold Christina Keppler of Arlington, collided with a pickup driven by 33 year old Allen Krum of Stanley. Keppler sustained minor injuries; she was taken to the Manchester hospital for treatment.

Both vehicles were totaled.

The accident was investigated by the Fayette County Sheriff, with assistance from the Iowa State Patrol, Buchanan County Sheriff, Oelwein fire, Oelwein ambulance, and first responders.
