2 Arrested in Theft Incident in Oelwein

Oelwein police have arrested two local residents allegedly involved in a theft incident.
The investigation began January 8th, when authorities received a report of a theft in the 700 block of 1st Avenue SW.

Just over a week later, on Saturday, Jan. 16th, Oelwein police arrested 24 year old Mikeala Voshell and 30 year old Joshua Steinbronn, both of Oelwein.

Both are being charged with Theft 3rd degree, possession of stolen property, and possession of a controlled substance.

Steinbronn also had a pending warrant from Buchanan County.
