10 Things To Do In The Snow

The first big snow of the year has arrived and you may think, "now what am I supposed to do?" As a small public service to you, we reached out to our friends in Alaska, because they know about snow the best, and will give you 10 Things To Do In the Snow!

You may scoff at me, but I grew up in a small town in Northern Wisconsin and by living there, I became accustom to large amounts of snow and extremely cold temperatures. How cold? I once had school canceled because the wind chill was at -80. That's how cold. As a kid, we never shied away from being outside. Mostly because we didn't have the internet, video games and had only 5 channels on the TV. But also because we loved being outside, no matter the weather.

I just find it funny that people won't even venture outside in the winter unless they absolutely have to. There are a TON of fun things to do with the kids or other adults. If it's with other adults, may I recommend a nice alcoholic beverage to spark the fun a bit more. Build a snowman, snow fort, snow angel...whatever, but enjoy being outside.
